On the 42,000 m² site of the former glassworks in Bülach Nord, around 600 apartments for 1,700 residents were completed, along with 27,000 m² of commercial space. In total, 21 predominantly six‑storey buildings were constructed, including a retirement residence, a residential high‑rise, a commercial building, and an office building. The high urban density required special architectural measures. At the heart of the overall design is the careful development of urban open spaces, which serve as connecting elements between the buildings and foster neighborhood cohesion.

STEINER AG, as site developer, realized the entire GLASI area for the investor Patrimonium Investment Foundation. The project of the five‑storey medical center “Building T” is located just a few minutes’ walk from Bülach railway station, at the southernmost corner of the brand‑new “GLASI” district, which comprises 20 new buildings. A pedestrian bridge will directly connect the building to the station platforms in 2027.
